« The facilities were clean and well maintained. Pitches were a generous size and flat. The children were well entrained for the duration of our stay and we would not hesitate to book here again. »

« We have never complained about a campsite before but our experience at the site completely ruined our holiday. Very noisy campsite at night as groups of young people congregated in sanitary blocks shouting and swearing and intimidating other campers. This meant my children would not go to the toilet alone (as they normally would do). We notified the campsite as the groups didn't disperse and were getting louder and they did increase security but still we were disturbed at 11.30pm and after midnight on one of the nights after our first complaint. We made two complaints. The pool was also cloudy for the entirety of our stay (the bottom of the pool was not visible due to the cloudiness). This campsite is not to the level that we have experienced at other Yelloh campsites and we would not return. The staff are very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend the staff. »

« Nice camping but too busy in full season. Not any space to swim in the pool. Prices at the bar annd restaurant are quite high and staff not very friendly. Other than that, it is ok, animations in the evenings etc up to expectations »

« We had a fantastic stay at Le Chaponnet. The staff are both friendly and helpful. The site is lovely with lots of trees and flowers and is kept impeccably clean. The pool area was good and the slides great fun. We ordered take away from the restaurant a couple of times and I was impressed with the pizzas! The local beach was perfect with great body boarding. I would highly recommend this site. »

« Could have been better. Pitch next to workers static homes who woke us up very early one morning by very loud laughing. Felt like being in a teenage campsite, not really very suitable would have preferred to be pitched next to other families. Terrible pitch. »

« Fantastic campsite and location. Toilets / showers constantly kept very clean. Brem is a buzzing little town with loads going on and great access to the beach. However, with this means that it is quite a vibrant site, and it is definitely not quiet from 11pm. Regular bands playing in Brem (just next door to the campsite) means that it would be impossible to enforce quiet from 11pm anyway. Main thing that would improve Le Chaponnet: a pool side bar. »

« Great campsite, lots of options to keep the kids entertained and develop their independence and language skills. Facilities really good, showers and toilets always clean. »

« Enjoyable stay. Children enjoyed the swimming and water slides. Pitch was well equipped (water, power and waste water ) with plenty of space. »

« Great safe campsite with plenty for the children to keep themselves entertained. The shower rooms are spotless and credit to the cleaning staff who work non stop. All staff are great with the exception of the restaurant manager who is easily irratated by children and does not reflect the yelloh village brand. »

« Friendly welcome and staff. Elements of maintenance required eg. woodern fencing at the kids playpark, bits missing, Dog excrement left for 3 days on the road. (not the sites fault in the intial instance however it still remaind after 3 days. Toilets near the pool not as clean as the main block. Other than that we had a great stay. »

« Very nice site in a lovely location in a quiet village and near a stunning beach. Site is very good and nice small pool area and slides. Accommodation could be a bit more comfortable with the addition of air condition and access to additional bedding (we asked for extra pillows and none were available). Site very safe for children and would recommend. »

« Had a great time but would like to see french swimming pools fit hand rails so that ambient disabled can access the swimming pool unaided down the steps, not down the deep end steps, as we have in England »
